What
is Rex Lounge?
Rex Lounge is a haven away from
the noise and bustle of the terminal. Members can relax and unwind, or catch up
on some work before their flight. There are workstations equipped with PCs that
have internet access as well as phones for free local calls. A private meeting
room can be arranged at Rex Lounge for members at Sydney.
Snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks are available for members to enjoy
throughout the day, together with beer and wine after 3pm. You can choose from
a range of newspapers and magazines, or enjoy your favourite programme on our
plasma TV in Rex Lounge.
Where is Rex Lounge located?
Rex Lounge
is conveniently located at Gate G2 in Sydney Domestic Terminal 2, Gate 10 in
Adelaide Terminal 1 and now Melbourne in Terminal 3 on the Ground Floor.
How much does membership cost and what do members receive?
Rex Lounge annual membership costs $299 (inclusive of GST). Membership provides
access to Rex Lounge in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide on the day of members’
departure or arrival on Rex flights.
How do I
enter the Lounge?
All members
will be given a four-digit Lounge Access Code and have their fingerprints
enrolled in the fingerprint scanner. To gain access to the Lounge, you must key
in your Lounge Access Code, place your enrolled finger on the scanner and the
doors will open if verification is successful.
How does a
customer apply for Rex Lounge membership?
You can
apply online here or grab a brochure
from Rex check-in counters. If you are an existing Rex Flyer member and wish to
join the Rex Lounge, please call 13 17 13 to register.
Can members
take guests into Rex Lounge?
Rex Lounge
members can invite a maximum of two guests to join them in Rex Lounge. Guests
will have to purchase a guest pass to enter. Guest passes cost $20.00 per
person (plus GST), valid for one visit and are available at the Rex check-in
counter or departure gates. A Rex Lounge member must accompany guests and both
must be travelling on Rex. Entry is subject to space availability.
